My family and I recently visited Zakynthos for a week this Summer. Villa Storeali is really one of those finds that is hard to believe one has stumbled upon. The slight apprehension I felt as we drove towards it, uncertain of what we might have rented, was completely unfounded.

We were thrilled with the villa and it went above and beyond our expectations in every respect. Not only was it private, quiet, enormous, comfortable and in a beautiful position but the idyllic views, a huge swimming pool, air-conditioned bedrooms (essential for proper sleep), a huge shaded wraparound verandah and the daily visits from housekeepers meant we could concentrate on relaxing properly and that is just what we did.

Our host, Sarah, was so helpful and has one of the best kept secret hideaways on the island (well maybe not anymore)! Villa Storeali is truly a house for large groups, multiple generations and everything in between. It is local enough to a bit of Greek coastal village life to ensure you can dip in and out as much as you want during your much-deserved break but far enough away to escape others if solitude is what you seek.

We will definitely be returning, could not recommend the villa highly enough and had some wonderful, sunny memories there at the end of a what proved to be a very soggy British summer.
