La Storia is the perfect example of a Greek family-run waterside taverna, at the end of the beach at Agios Nikolaos. They serve fresh fish, calamari and other typically Greek dishes right on the seafront, lots of the fish is cooked on their large BBQ. Some tables are even on the beach, a perfect spot for a moonlit supper. During the summer they hold Greek Night each Friday with traditional  dancing and they encourage the guests to get up and dance too - great fun and not to to be missed.

Mikro Nisi is an excellent fish taverna - food and drinks with superb dining area in an absolutely spectacular setting for a restaurant. There are ocean views and there is waterside decking and sunbeds. Idyllic views and friendly service. Good swimming from a stony beach.

Kaminaki Taverna is owned and run by Dennis who produces amazing food at this friendly taverna in Volimes. His speciality is spit-roast baby lamb, normally only available at weekends and worth booking to be certain.  Not to be missed!
